Reports say, 3 men involved in 5 robberies, 2 car thefts within 90 minutes

"On March 22, 2014 in the early morning hours, Greensboro Police officers responded to five separate incidents involving robbery from individuals.  The first incident occurred at 5:30 am and the last incident occurred at 6:54 am.  All five incidents involved three similar suspects who approached the victims as they were entering their vehicles.  The suspects displayed firearms and demanded money, property, and during two of the incidents took the victims vehicles.  None of the victims sustained injuries during the incidents.  Following are the addresses where the incidents occurred.

·         1627 Sunrise Valley Dr
·         1006 Norwalk St
·         412 Overlook St
·         309 N Tremont Dr
Officer D.A. Allis had just completed his shift and was going home when he was in the area after the last incident was reported on N Tremont Dr.  Officer Allis observed a vehicle that fit the description of the suspect vehicle used during the robberies leaving the area.  He attempted to initiate a vehicle stop on the vehicle and a short vehicle pursuit occurred.  The suspect vehicle crashed on Byerly Pl and the three suspects fled on foot.  All three suspects were apprehended and transported to Criminal Investigation Division for interviews. 

The following are the identities of the three suspects:

Aaron Spivey, W/M  DOB 2/19/1993 of Davidson County NC
Antonio Stimpson, B/M DOB 5/12/1994 of Greensboro NC
Lamarcus McKinnon, B/M DOB 12/1/1994 of Greensboro NC

All three suspects are being charged with multiple counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon in relation to all five incidents.

Multiple officers from all four patrol divisions, detectives, and CSI’s all assisted in the apprehension and investigation of the incidents."
