It was explained to me that white antiracists should analyze their own racism and challenge each other on their own time instead of placing the burden on people of color to be constantly be wrestling with them -- a process that is emotionally draining. Also white antiracists can support each other in developing their abilities to challenge racism in an an overwhelmingly racist society.<br /><br />I know this sounds unorthodox, but I think it has a more respectable pedigree than you might realize.
