Appeal for funds to pay for funeral of Hairston apartments resident

Wanda Love, a resident of JT Hairston Memorial Apartments, says a fellow resident died recently and says that community members are raising money to help the family defray funeral expenses. She asks that any churches or individuals that wish to help out, contact her.

Her message follows:

JT Hairston Memorial Apartments has lost a resident in death. The family does not have any life insurance for burial expenses. I am asking for any donations that can help us assist the family. The residents and friends have been having dinner plate sales and car washes to raise the money.
