Reckless disregard

We figured there would be some action after this week's cover story came out, and nopt just because that just might be the coolest picture of John Hammer ever taken (we think he kind of looks like Warren Zevon).

Troublemaker was the first blogger to pick it up in a post that had all of Ben Holder's characteristic vitriol towards Jordan Green but, curiously, none of his grammatical transgressions, followed closely by Ed Cone, where a lively comment thread ensued. My man Spags over at the Conservative Alternative hit it, too. Plenty of local luminaries (some less bright than others) have weighed in. The discussion is still going on, which is as it should be — we've still got one more segment to go.

We will be putting the interview tapes up on this blog after Part 2 comes out, because we're all up in that transparency business. Plus, we want to assure people that there's one weekly in town, at least that doesn't cherry-pick facts and quotes.

I could give two shits about the Wray case, but I must say I'm enjoying your cross-coverage. I was going to tell Jordan Green that himself at this morning's Impact Greensboro orgy, but he was too busy cutting a bohemian profile amid all the JCPenny suits. Boy, can that guy network!
