Cover illustration for this week

For the cover this week, I decided to make a sketchy-style drawing for the cover. The story is about the video poker machines and gambling in the Triad. I wanted to communicate a sense of rushed newness about this situation. So that made the choice of medium rather easy. The illustration was created using Prismacolor colored pencils, sketching pencils, and Pigma Micron liner markers.
