17 Days: Music Art Theatre & More

United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro (UAC) launches new website and social media pages to provide information and promote Greensboro's new 17 Days Festival, slated for September 22 - October 8.

17DaysGreensboro.org offers a complete listing of more than 80 unique events by date or genre as well as information, tickets and special offers. Local and state-wide advertising will direct interested festival goers to the site, driving ticket sales and attendance.

The UAC has also created social media pages to keep the community up-to-date on arts information and news. Users can access and like or follow the UAC by searching United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro and 17 Days Greensboro on: Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and You Tube.

"We're very excited about growing our online presence, in an effort to keep the community informed on the wealth of opportunities to explore and experience the arts in Greensboro," said UAC Director of Marketing & Community Affairs, Altina Layman. "These tools provide a great way to keep the communication going with our local community and beyond."

The United Arts Council is Greensboro's largest single source of financial support for its creative community, the only umbrella arts resource -- funding arts and culture, from nationally recognized programs, community arts projects, and arts-in-education initiatives to mission support -- with a high priority on access to the arts across all cultures, ages, and economic backgrounds.
