Sills Consulting is conducting an anonymous, online survey to gather information about local housing conditions for the Piedmont Triad Regional Council. The survey covers the 12 counties that make up the Piedmont, including Guilford and Forsyth Counties (our coverage area).

The survey asks questions like why participants chose their current neighborhood, what attempts to buy or rent housing has been like, if respondents have been discriminated against, perceptions and more.

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council aims to "promote livable communities resulting in a sustainable future" and is pursuing this area research with the help of a grant from a US housing and urban development department grant. Sills Consulting is a father-son team: Mark Sills, who headed the nonprofit FaithAction International House, and Stephen Sills, a sociology professor at UNC Greensboro who has been active with the Refugee & Immigrant Network of Guilford.

Participants will be entered to win an iPod Touch or a $250 Apple Store gift card.
