"The Greensboro Youth Council (GYC) is now accepting applications through March 14 for its 2014-15 Executive Board. Interested high school students and rising freshmen can review job descriptions and obtain an application online at www.greensboroyouthcouncil.com by clicking on the “Applications” link.
The Executive Board includes chair, project chairs, public relations director, records director, training director, editor-in-chief, and internal affairs director. The project chair positions oversee Camille’s Closet, Santa’s Workshop, Operation Move, and Ghoulash.
The Greensboro Youth Council provides leadership and volunteer opportunities for Guilford County high school students through the planning and implementation of unique youth-run events. Each year GYC participants volunteer more than 10,000 hours creating an economic impact for more than $200,000.
