Public Invited to Comment on Two Revisions to Board Policy

Feedback will be accepted on proposed
changes for a 30-day period

"At its meeting Tuesday, the Board of Education voted to accept feedback on two proposed policy changes.

The first, Policy CPGA regarding tobacco use, includes a name change and clarification on the use of electronic cigarettes at the request of the Department of Public Instruction.

The second, Policy GBI and Procedure GBI-P, involves the evaluation of licensed personnel. The procedure is a new document, and both documents are included for public feedback.

Comments on the policies should be submitted to policies@gcsnc.com or via courier or U.S. mail to Policy Development, Guilford County Schools, 712 N. Eugene St., Greensboro, N.C. 27401.

Feedback will be accepted until May 8."
