"Traffic around the Lindley Park area will be affected by the Race the Bar event on May 10th.
Beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Walker Avenue between Elam and Ashland Drive will be closed to traffic in order to provide a safe route for participants.
Other roads along the route will be experience temporary closures to allow runners and walkers to safely pass. Barricades and police will be along the route.
Drivers and pedestrians are reminded that the police officer’s hand and arm signals take precedence over all other traffic control devices.
All roads should be opened to normal traffic by approximately 6:30 p.m."
