Police say woman snatches handbag and then pulls gun.

"On Jan. 17 at approximately 2:51 am, Officers of the Greensboro Police Department responded to the area of South Greene Street and West McGee Street in reference to a robbery call.

Upon arrival, Officers spoke with six victims who stated that they were waiting for a ride when they were approached by a female suspect. The suspect struck up a conversation with the victims near their vehicle at which time the suspect reached into the victim’s vehicle and took a handbag. The suspect then walked to a nearby vehicle where a confrontation ensued. The suspect brandished a handgun and then fled the area when one of the victims had advised they had called 911.

Two of the victims sustained minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.

The suspect was described as a black female, 5’6” tall, having long dred locks, wearing a toboggan, glasses, jogging pants, and jacket. The suspect vehicle was occupied by a white male, 6’2” tall, in his 20’s, with short blonde hair.

The investigation is ongoing.
