"National Walking Day" set for April 1. No kidding...

"Greensboro, NC - Crumley Roberts encourages everyone to take the first step to a healthier life by taking part in the American Heart Association's National Walking Day on Wednesday, April 1st. On this day, Americans are encouraged to lace up their sneakers and take 30 minutes out of their day to get up and walk
Crumley Roberts would like for you to participate in their walk on this day which starts promptly at 10:00am at the Greensboro Coliseum path, and finishes at Crumley Roberts' headquarters at 2400 Freeman Mill Road.
“The Walk is a way for everyone to get outside and get into shape", said Kimberly Roberts, Vice President of Cultural Development for Crumley Roberts and the Guilford Go Red For Women 2016 Chair. "We hope other businesses will participate in this celebration of fitness and healthy living."
Go Red For Women, a nationwide initiative designed to raise women’s awareness of their risk of heart disease and stroke, is locally sponsored in Guilford County by NewBridge Bank, Novant Health and Crumley Roberts.

The Walk will be followed by a full day of activities designed to promote healthy lifestyles, including Heart Health Screenings (for blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose reading), fitness tips, kids zone, and kid friendly cooking demonstrations.

There will also be live music and door prizes.
This event is free and open to the public!
