Pair arrested for drugs, stolen gun and cruelty to animals

"On Dec. 10 at 10:45am, members of the Winston-Salem Police Department’s Special Investigations Division concluded an investigation into allegations of illegal drugs being distributed at 1015 E. Devonshire Street.  A search warrant was executed at the residence and it was determined that Sharon Renee Brisbon, a 39-year-old, black female and Jahkeel Careem Harringont, a 20-year-old black male, lived there.  During a search, officers located crack cocaine, paraphernalia associated with processing cocaine and a stolen .380 caliber pistol. Two (2) emaciated dogs were also located at the residence.

Brisbon was charged with Possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, Manufacture cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for VCSA, 2 counts of cruelty to animals and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $3000. Harrington was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and bond was set at $2000. Animal Control personnel responded and took custody of the dogs.
