“FROM CALI TO CLEMMONS, BEER AND YOGA ARE PAIRING UP” RIVER RIDGE TAPHOUSE HOST YOGA AND A BEER SERIES

CLEMMONS--- Local favorite, River Ridge Taphouse, is bringing the newest rage spanning as far as California to Germany to the Triad with its new, Yoga and a Beer Series.
What’s this, one might say, when they first hear of the hottest trend hitting yogis and/or Taphouse fans. Yes, it’s true. The new craze spanning the country, and even the world as there are several reported pubs in Germany who are offering this new, hip combo, is combining two loves; yoga and beer.

According to Yoga instructor, Ericka Edwards, also River Ridge Taphouse’s Event/Catering Coordinator & Social Media Marketing Specialist, River Ridge Taphouse is the perfect venue for a yoga and beer series.

“When I joined the River Ridge Taphouse family a couple of years ago, we started looking at ways we could better serve our community and the Triad,” says Edwards. “One area where we developed a niche is offering a good variety of gluten free/vegan options. Others include consistently offering great live music, being on-top of the newest and hottest trends in craft and tap beers, and hosting unique events no one else in the area is doing. It’s what’s proven to set us apart from other Taphouses and kitchens in the area.”

Theories as to why yoga and beer events are so quickly taking off range from yoga feeling more mainstream for those who would not necessarily go to a traditional yoga studio, to making exercise more appealing by turning it into a social event as well something that’s good for you, to making yoga more appealing to men because it is being hosted in a place where they are more comfortable and frequent; whatever the reason Triad residents will be able to experience the perfect pairing that is sweeping the country at the Triad's own River Ridge Taphouse.

Series dates for July are Sunday the 10th and the 24th from 12:00 P.M. – until. Cost is $10 per session. Reservations are recommended. Sessions include a 60-minute yoga class (beginner’s level) followed by a beer of choice from the series pre-selected beer menu.  To reserve space guests should call 336.712.1883.
