Ruff Housing to Host AARF’s Annual Howl-O-Ween Fall Festival and Fundraiser

"Ruff Housing, an upscale dog daycare, lodging and grooming facility with four locations, will host AARF’s Annual Howl-O-Ween Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 25 from 3 to 5 p.m.
The event will take place at Ruff Housings 5648 Country Club Road location and is open to the public.

The festival will feature food trucks, refreshments, a gift basket raffle, adoptable foster dogs from AARF, treats from K-9 Doggie Bakery and Boutique, a costume contest and fun surprises. All proceeds will be used to provide medical care for animals in the AARF program and those who come to AARF for rescue and adoption. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

We are excited about partnering with AARF for their annual Howl-O-Ween event, said Kim Vaughn, owner of Ruff Housing. They do so much for the animals in this community, and we are happy to help support them.

All dogs attending the event need to have proof of vaccines and will need to remain on leash for the event. We look forward to seeing the many fun and creative costumes.

Admission is $10 per person and dogs will be admitted for free. Tickets are available at Ruff Housings Winston-Salem locations at 5648 Country Club Road and 336 Witt Street.

Ruff Housing has four locations in Winston-Salem, Clemmons and Greensboro. For more information, call 336-602-1538 or go to www.ruffhousing.com."

Several local and regional rescue groups and animal shelters including Guilford County Animal Shelter and SPCA of the Triad will be in attendance with dogs that are in need of homes. Groups will be stationed inside the new 16,000-square-foot facilitys playrooms and fenced play yards, and there will be food trucks and a variety of vendors with dog-related merchandise for sale. Face painting, games and prizes will also be available for the kids.

We are excited about being a new member of the Greensboro community.  There are some fantastic rescue organizations here, and we look forward to continuing to support them, said Kim Vaughn, owner of Ruff Housing.

Ruff Housing staff members will give tours of the facility and the dog pool with splash fountains. Guests are invited to bring their leashed dogs with proof of their current rabies vaccination at the door. Admission is free.
