Armed black male robs woman at Ham's on High Point Road

 "On February 26, 2014, at 8:45 p.m., Officers responded to the parking lot of the Ham’s Restaurant, located at 3017 High Point Road, in reference to a robbery of person.

The victim had just parked her vehicle in the parking lot and was preparing to walk into the restaurant when she was confronted by the suspect. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded her property. The victim complied and turned over a small amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early twenties, 5’ 11”, 180-200 pounds, wearing a grey knit cap, grey coat, grey shirt, and blue jeans. He was last seen fleeing east through the parking lot of the business.

Southern Division Patrol and K-9 officers responded to the scene.
