"The Winston-Salem Police
Department responded, April 29 to an armed robbery report call from the Citgo,
located at 5000 Old Walkertown Road.
The described suspect entered the business and pointed a
handgun at the cashier, Mr. Mansour. The suspect demanded money from the cash
register. Mr. Mansour gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money from the
cash register. The suspect left the business and it is unknown whether he left
the scene on foot or in a vehicle. Mr. Mansour was not injured during the
incident.
This investigation has been referred to the Criminal
Investigations Division for follow up.
