Arrest made in indecent liberties with minor call

"April 23, Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to a reported indecent liberties with a minor call.  Upon arrival, Officers learned that an eleven year old had disclosed to school officials that her mother’s boyfriend, David, had touched her inappropriately earlier that morning.

Criminal Investigations Division Juvenile detectives assumed the investigation.  During the investigation, detectives learned that David Obadiah CROSBY had engaged in inappropriate touching and sexual act with the eleven year old victim.

CROSBY was arrested at 725 N. Cherry Street in Winston-Salem.

As a result of the investigation, David Obadiah CROSBY was charged with two counts of Indecent Liberties with a Minor NCGS 14-202.1 and one count of First Degree Statutory Sexual  Offense NCGS 14-27.4.
