On April 22, Elm St. Grill held its seventh wine tasting event, and it was the gastropub’s most successful wine tasting yet.
Dozens of guests were treated to various wines as well as an assortment of cheese and fruit as they sat back and enjoyed the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant in the Lake Jeanette area.
Owners Ruchi and Ravi were there to not only greet the guests, but they also assisted in delivering the food, working in the kitchen and asking for feedback on how to make their eighth wine tasting even better than the seventh.
“Wine tasting every six weeks in the midst of Lake Jeannette area has revitalized the local sentiment of coming to a wine tasting everyone has started knowing each other,” Ravi said. “The best chosen wines are then introduced on the menu.”
Ruchi and Ravi are pleased to announce that over the past six months, the wince collection on the menu has grown from six to 38.
The wines included in the seventh tasting were: Murphy-Goode Sauvignon Blanc, Civello White Blend, Cambria 'Katherine's Vineyard' Chardonnay, Tenuta Di Arceno Chianti, Terrazas De Los Andes Malbec, Yangarra Estate Shiraz and Edmeadez Zinfadel.
