School bus driver arrested in relation to inappropriate touching of student

"On March 21, 2014 a R.J. Reynolds High School student reported (to the School’s Resource Officer) having been inappropriately touched. A 15 year old male student reported that her bus driver (Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools) had made the inappropriate touch.  Based on the preliminary information gathered, Detectives with Winston-Salem Police Department assumed responsibility of this investigation. Ms. Aundra France was subsequently identified as the suspect in this case.

Based on information gathered during the course of this investigation, warrants were issued for Mrs. France’s arrest for Sexual Battery and for Simple Assault. She was arrested at her home, without incident, and placed in the Forsyth County Detention Center under a $1,000 secured bond on 06-03-14. Her court date was set for June 25.
