"Arts Splash continues on Sunday, August 3, at 6:00 p.m. with Mipso playing folk and bluegrass music. Formed in Chapel Hill in 2010, the three north Carolina songwriters of Mipso bring soul to folk, rock-n-roll to bluegrass, and something funky to Americana. Together they blend the rich acoustic traditions of the Appalachians. Joseph Terrell, guitarist, is the son of Tom and Gaither Terrell of High Point!
This FREE concert will be held at the High Point Museum, 1859 E. Lexington Avenue, High Point. The concert is held in the Historical Park surrounded by three historic buildings and an historically authentic herb garden. The perfect backdrop for a bluegrass concert!
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic dinners. No alcoholic beverages are permitted at any of the concert locations. If there is a threat of rain, call 336.889.ARTS after 4:00 p.m. Sunday to get the latest update on the event.
