THE MONTI RETURNS TO DOWNTOWN GREENSBORO JULY 24TH IN THE CROWN AT THE CAROLIN

G"Greensboro, NC – The Carolina Theatre is pleased to announce that The Monti will return to Greensboro next TThursday, July 24, 2014 in The Crown at the Carolina.

The Monti invites people from the community to tell personal stories without the use of notes. It’s just simple storytelling. The goal is to create an intimate, open, and fun atmosphere where people can relate their personal experiences through narrative. In April 2008, The Monti debuted to a sold-out crowd in Chapel Hill. They have been selling out shows ever since by inviting interesting people with amazing stories that amuse and compel. Each event promises an unexpected and refreshing night of provocative entertainment with storytellers adhering to just four rules:

1.     All stories are true.

2.     All stories are told without the use of notes.

3.     All stories adhere to a twelve-minute time limit.

4.     All stories revolve around the given theme.

The theme for the July 24 event in The Crown at the Carolina is “Out of Control,” and storytellers include Cat Clerkin, Drew Perry, and Susan Ladd.
