"Fitness Philanthropist™and creator of the Want Different Do Different™ Health and Wellness Movement April Hartsook, and McWhorter Concepts, have received the Bronze Telly Award for their video production titled “The Want Different Do Different™ Show". The Want Different Do Different™Show was created to motivate, encourage, empower and inspire the people of the world, to take back responsibility and accountability for the health and wellness of their individual lives.
Ms. Hartsook is based in Winston-Salem, NC, and in addition to her health and wellness role as a business owner and personal trainer, she is a motivational speaker, writer, public personality and ultra endurance athlete. She competes throughout the world in Ironman triathlon competitions and long distance running events. She also serves as an Ambassador raising awareness and funding to fight ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).
McWhorter Concepts is a full service video production company based in Greensboro, NC, and is owned by Sherrie McWhorter and Diane Stevio.
The Telly Awards, founded in 1979, honors outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, as well as online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
This year, there were over 1200 entries from all 50 states and abroad. A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals judged this year's competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents.
