"Greensboro Police are reporting that two Homicide victims have been identified in the shooting that occurred in the 1000 block of E. Bragg Street. Officers were on scene in the area of Ray Warren homes on a separate call when they heard shots fired coming from the area of the 1000 block of E. Bragg Street. Officers responded to the vicinity and located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The first victim, identified as Ernest Lemark Cuthbertson, 23, was found deceased. The second victim, identified as Jeffrey Devine Hampton, 44, of 1511 Avalon Road was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Next of kin were notified. Preliminary investigation indicates that there was a disturbance prior to the shooting. Detectives are continuing the investigation with interviews to determine a possible motive and suspect(s).
