THE CAST
Amy da Luz (Kenneth “Rocky” Kane/Waitress/Inspector) appeared in Deathtrap this past fall, and Triad Stage audience will also remember her roles in A Doll House, Picnic, The Little Foxes, Night of the Iguana, and A Streetcar Named Desire. She is a UNCG alum and a founding Artistic Director of Paper Lantern Theatre Co. in Winston-Salem.
Amy Hamel (Chip “Chip” Chowalsky/Richard/Joany) is returning to Triad Stage. Our audiences saw her performance last spring in Abundance, as well as in Snow Queen (2013-2014) and Tennessee Playboy. She’s appeared on Broadway and on the national tour of Cats, and on regional stages across Florida and North Carolina. She has an MFA from UNCG.
Eliza Huberth ( Holly “Legs” Nelson/Flossie/Flip/Flash) is making her Triad Stage debut. She’s appeared at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and Forestburgh Playhouse, and is a graduate of Kenyon College and recently The Julliard School. www.ElizaHuberth.com
Emma Kikue (Charlie “Sly” Fox/Randy/Chicken 2/Mitchie/Wendy) makes her Triad Stage debut with this performance. She’s appeared at Peppercorn Theatre, and is a graduate of the UNCSA High School Program and a current UNCSA BFA Candidate.
Denise Lute (Grandma/Special Guest Star) was recently see at Triad Stage in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. She also appeared in Tennessee Playboy. Her Broadway and Off-Broadway credits include Monday After the Miracle, Middle of the Night, and By the Water. She’s also appeared at Goodspeed Musicals and Flat Rock Playhouse, and on all three of the Law & Order series.
Courtney Moors (Kenny "Hotshot" Kane 3rd/Chicken 1/Man in the Hat/Cassie/Nurse) is making her Triad Stage debut. She’s appeared on stages from Portland, ME to NYC to Orlando in productions such as Dracula, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Pride and Prejudice, and Much Ado About Nothing. She has a BFA in Acting from UCF.
THE CREATIVE TEAM
David Karl Lee (Director) directed VROOOMMM! previously in NYC for The Arielle Tepper Summer Play Festival. He received The Critic's Choice Award for Best Actor for his performance in Eric Bogosian's Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll at The 2015 Orlando International Fringe and in May he will direct The Book of Liz by David and Amy Sedaris for the 25th anniversary of the same festival. He attended graduate school at The Yale School of Drama with Triad Stage Founding Directors Preston Lane and Rich Whittington.
Bert Scott ( Scenic Designer) has work on such Off-Boardway productions as According to Goldman, Bass for Picasso, and The Unexpected Guest. His regional work has appeared at theaters around the country. He earned his MFA at UNCG and is currently the coordinator of Theatre Design & Technology at the University of Central Florida. www.BertScott.com
Andja Budincich ( Costume Designer) has previously designed on Moon Over Buffalo at Spring Theatre, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the NC Symphony, as well as in several university productions. She is currently an MFA Candidate at UNCSA. http://andjabudincich.wix.com/costumedesign
Vandy Wood (Lighting Designer) currently teaches design and coordinates the MFA TYA program at the University of Central Florida. She’s worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre and IBEX Puppetry, among others. She holds an MFA in Theatre from UNCG.
Sarah Yates (Lighting Designer) is the lighting designer and one of the technical directors for the News-Journal Center at Daytona State College. She’s also worked at Seaside Music Theater and IBEX Puppetry. This is her first show with Triad Stage.
Cory Raynor (Sound Designer) makes his Triad Stage debut as sound designer, but has worked with us as a sound engineer since 2011. His work has also appeared at the Highlands Playhouse. He is a BFA Candidate in Sound Design & Engineering at UNCSA.
Ann Louise Wolf (Dialect Coach) worked on our production of The 39 Steps. She’s also worked on multiple UNCSA production, and has a BFA from UNCSA. She’s a current MFA Candidate in Voice Studies at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Jim Wren (Resident Fight Choreographer) has staged the violence for over a dozen Triad Stage productions, including the battles in Brother Wolf and Bloody Blackbeard. He is the Performance Program Coordinator for the UNCG Department of Theatre.
Tamera N. Izlar (Dramaturg) is an Artistic Associate at Triad Stage. She has served as dramaturg for our productions of Beautiful Star: An Appalachian Nativity (2015), Wit, Common Enemy, and Other Desert Cites. She’ll be directing Fences at The Pyrle Theater in April.
Lindsey A. Moss (Stage Manager) has been at Flat Rock Playhouse since 2011. Some of her favorite productions there include Cats, The Last Five Years, Pump Boys & Dinettes. She was also recent the ASM of the World Premiere of Chasing Rainbows: The Road to Oz."
