1. The city is not doing enough to curb air pollution because our air quality numbers
are not acceptable. The city can do more to increase public awareness or different types of pollution and encourage people to limit emissions and carpool as well as other solutions.

2. I would list increased bus service first because it would decrease traffic and reduce emissions. It would also improve safety. New roads would be next because of the growth in the county as a whole. I believe that a light rail system is worth considering.

3. I believe very strongly in the support of existing small businesses and the development of new small businesses. This would increase the number jobs and provide additional taxes for the city. The majority of new jobs are creating by small businesses and the city should do everything possible to help them be successful. The current programs must be publicized better.

4. I support the use of economic incentives on a case by case basis. We must use them to be competitive. I believe that specific criteria such as the return to the city, participation with minority businesses, community involvement, and the proper products and services for our changing economy must be considered.

5. The city can support local businesses by working with them through the Office of Economic Development and making sure that they know about city services. The availability of resources such as capital and management training will make a great difference. The city can assist the local through parnrtdships.

6. I support the minimum wage because all families deserve to have the needed funds to raise as well as possible.

7. I would like to find out more about the fringe development.
