Greensboro City Councilman Danny Thompson, at-large, on his somewhat variable position on placement of speakers from the floor on the council's agenda: "The mayor has a few prerogatives: Boards and commissions, seating arrangement and the agenda. While I have a personal preference, that doesn't mean anything. I'm not going to usurp or overrule the mayor on a minor prerogative."
