Starting an hour an a half late — on what some call punk time — the show began with the solo acoustic act Romantic Animal. Making up for lost time, the transitions between bands seemed particularly fast, and Bronzed Chorus took the stage before 11 pm.
Fronted by Beck Levy (formerly of Turboslut) The Gift are a D.C. band who have been described as "funeral grunge."
All of the performances played to large crowds, with many sitting on the floor during Romantic Animal and then standing for the second two acts.
Pictured at right, Bronzed Chorus is a two piece band that's been around since 2005. After releasing two albums, the original drummer left the band. Hunter Allen replaced him, joining Adam Joyce on guitar. Bronzed Chorus closed out the show.
