ACC Hall of Champions now open to the public

The ACC Hall of Champions, located within the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Special Events Center, is open to the public after a ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday. Elected officials and personnel involved with the construction of the hall showed up to get the first look at the new exhibit.

The ACC Hall of Champions, which was formerly used as a storage room for the coliseum, details the history of the conference and its 12 teams from 1953 to present. The first phase features kiosks with team facts and memorabilia, stand-up mascots, interactive exhibits and a video globe that shows a montage of victorious moments in ACC history.

The hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Admission is $5.
