It's hard to capture the essence of a city, or our relationship to it, but my friend Shaina did a pretty first-rate job in a recent "love letter" to Greensboro that she posted online. After living here for years in two separate stints, she penned (or whatever the electronic equivalent of the verb is) this letter to the Gate City after moving away a few weeks ago.
She didn't send it to us as a letter to the editor but posted it publicly to her blog, and I'm sharing it here because it's an elegant glimpse into her perspective on our city that I imagine will resonate with many locals.
