A Real St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in Greensboro

In an effort to bring a more genuine Irish experience for Greensboro on St. Patrick’s Day, AKA Entertainment & Media is partnering with the Worx restaurant in downtown Greensboro to produce the first ever Greater Greensboro St. Paddy’s Party in the restaurant’s performance lawn at 106 Barnhardt Street. It is Irish after all, so the beer will be pouring during the small festival complete with an Irish Market, seminars on Irish history, religion, literature, dancing and even the Gaelic language. The entertainment will be Celtic through and through with several performers originating from the old country. The Greater Greensboro St. Paddys’ Party will begin at 7AM Mar. 17 and end at the stroke of Midnight. There will be three authentic Irish meals served and the lunch crowd will be entertained as they eat in either the Republic of Ireland Tent of the Northern Ireland Tent. This is a family friendly event although there are a couple of acts that showcase the famous Irish sense of humor which can be a little bawdy at time. Those acts will be denoted on the web page www.aka-entertainment.com/paddys.

It's going to be a Cracker, great music and great venue, and of course North Carolina's premier Celtic Rock band Brynmor headlining what more can be said.
