Now through March 7, the Greensboro Youth Council (GYC) is collecting new and gently used prom dresses and accessories for Camille’s Closet, which provides formal wear and accessories for prom night for local girls in financial need.
Donations may be dropped off at the GYC office, 501 Yanceyville St. from 10 am to 6 pm Mondays through Thursdays and from 10 am to 2 pm on Fridays. Donations may also be dropped off at the following locations:
· Cheshire Center, 2500 N. Church St.
· Christ United Methodist Church, 410 N. Holden Rd.
· First Lutheran Church, 3600 W. Friendly Ave.
· Sedge Garden United Methodist Church, 794 Sedge Garden Rd., Kernersville
“Shopping Day” for girls in need of a dress will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 8 and from 1-5 pm Thursday, April 17 at the GYC office. For more information, call 336-373-2734 or visit www.greensboroyouthcouncil.com.
