CITY OF GREENSBORO
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On February 28, 2014 at approximately 8:41 pm, Officers responded to the Exxon gas station located at 1766 Mount Hope Church Road in reference to a robbery of business.
Upon arrival, Officers learned that the suspect had entered the Exxon armed with a handgun. The suspect then demanded money but fled the scene before obtaining any property.
The suspect was described as a young male, approximately 6’ tall, with a slim build, and had his face covered with a bandana.
There were no injuries in this incident.
Eastern Division Patrol, Robbery Squad, CID, K9, and CSI responded to the scene.
