Greensboro Farmers Curb Market Kicks off Mid-Week Wednesday Market May 7 With New Hours & Lunch Option for Dine-in or Take Out

"The Market invites you to join us for opening day tomorrow from 8 am until 1:30 pm.  Visitors can register to win drawings every 15 minutes for a free (reusable shopping bag-register at the managers desk). Here's a sneak peak of what to expect tomorrow from area farmers and producers:
Two Shovels (of Mcleansville) will debut at GFCM:
Look for mustard micro greens, lettuce, oregano, red box choy, spinach, thyme, moranga, and basil.
Massey Creek Farm
Pasture raised eggs, the largest sausage selection at the market, pork chops, pork roasts and lamb later in the season. We have stewing hens as well as meaty bones for stews and stocks. A new service exclusive to the curb market, is our master knife sharpening service. If you haven’t used a truly SHARP hand honed knife, you are in for a treat. Massey Creeks accept EBT tokens and credit/debit cards,
Smith Farm will bring   strawberries, NC Fresh seafood, cabbage, broccoli, early and summer veggies.
Mindenhill Farm  will bring bedding plants, hanging baskets, and geraniums to name a few of the plant offerings. Vegetable offerings should be greenhouse tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, collards, kale, swiss chard, red leaf mustard and spring onions.
Rudd Farm will bring tomatoes and strawberries
Loaf Bakery will offer European inspired artisan breads and, lunch items to enjoy on site or take away to your office or home. Tomato cheese pie, focaccia, and other items will be available.
Real Catering will bring freshly made salsa, pimento cheese,  and chicken salad.

Additional vendors will join the market, including floral and plant sellers just in time for Mother's Day weekend. A cash ATM kiosk is on site at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market. EBT/SNAP customers can double their dollars on Wednesday markets as well.
