Man robbed while waiting in Taco Bell parking lot

"Greensboro, NC (May 21, 2014) – At 7:35 pm, Officers responded to a reported robbery from person that occurred in the parking lot of Taco Bell, located at 1115 Summit Avenue.

 The victim, 22 year old Samuel White, had arranged to meet an acquaintance at this location in order to purchase a cell phone. As Mr. White was waiting in his vehicle for his acquaintance to arrive, the suspect entered Mr. White’s vehicle through the unlocked rear door, pointed a handgun at him, and demanded his cash. Mr. White complied and handed the suspect the money. The suspect then fled the scene in a silver four-door Honda Civic, last seen traveling north on Fairview Street.

Mr. White did not sustain any injuries during the incident.

The suspect is described as black male between 20 and 30 years of age, 6’1”, muscular build, last seen wearing a pink and white checkered shirt and blue jean shorts. .

Eastern Division Patrol and CSI responded to this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
