Two Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting of A&T Student


"Two Greensboro men are in custody in connection with Tuesday’s fatal shooting of North Carolina A&T University football player Jermane Darnell Clark.
Kendrick Louis Robinson, 22, of 619 Sharing Terrace, was arrested at his residence at 6:30 this morning.
Lemiah Wyatt Sanders, Jr., 20, was arrested at his residence at 905 Benjamin Benson Street at approximately 7:00 a.m.
Both were taken into custody without incident by detectives from the Greensboro Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.
They are both charged with First Degree Murder, and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
The shooting occurred at approximately 11 p.m. April 29th at the 400 block of Stedman Street. Police found Clark, 22, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services personnel performed advanced first aid on Clark, however, he was pronounced deceased at Moses Cone Hospital. 
The motive for the shooting is unclear.

Clark, a native of Winston-Salem, resided at 425 Stedman Street in Greensboro at the time of the incident."
