"Today acclaimed bass music pioneer, Bassnectar, releases his 10th album, Noise Vs Beauty, and announces his fall 'NVSB' tour which includes his 8th Bass Center Event - a come one come all destination spectacular at New York's Madison Square Garden. The 'NVSB' tour will feature Bassnectar's extensive multimedia production that gives concert-goers the most immersive experience possible along with an endless list of special effects which continues to raise the bar for any live show. The tour comes in support of his newest album which features early singles "You & Me", "Now" and "Hold On" and has been praised by the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard, VICE, Stereogum and Sirius XM Radio.
BASSNECTAR returns to Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center on Saturday October 18 with special guests Kill Paris and Son of Kick. Tickets go on sale Friday June 27 at 10am at livenation.com, the Coliseum box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge by phone 800-745-3000.
The tour kicks off on October 4th at Madison Square Garden with a special 5,000 person warm-up show which Bassnectar refers to as a "Special Sound Check" gig at the Main Street Armory in Rochester, NY on October 3rd. The tour then makes its way across the Northeast before travelling through the Southern US and wrapping up on the West Coast for a hometown show at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Support for the tour will come from electro-funk act Kill Paris and UK hip-hop producer Son of Kick. with select performances by Paper Diamond and GRiZ. Fan club presale tickets for all shows except Bass Center VIII will be available tomorrow, June 25th at Noon EST with Public on-sale going later this week (full details for Bass Center VIII New York and other surprises coming soon). This year has already seen Bassnectar sell-out his fourth consecutive two-night Red Rocks appearance as well as headlining sets at EDC New York, EDC Las Vegas, Wakarusa, and Summer Camp Music Fest. For the NVSB Tour, one dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to charity as part of his $1 Per Basshead initiative which has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in the past several years, and for 2014 has committed to distributing "unlimited" free ear plugs to every single pair of ear drums in attendance at a BN show.
