Community invited to participate in event
that fights homelessness and hunger
"Open Door Ministries of High Point will host a Putt Putt Golf Tournament on Tuesday, July 8th. The community is invited to come out and participate in this new fundraising event anytime between 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The event will be held at the Putt Putt Golf Course located at 2418 N Main Street in High Point
The cost to play for ages 12 & under is $5.00, ages 13-17 ($8.00) and ages 18 & older ($10.00) with each player receiving three rounds of miniature golf. Door prizes will be given out throughout the evening and the High Point University Ice Cream Truck will also be on hand serving up free ice cream.
Funds raised through this event will allow Open Door Ministries to continue serving the hungry and homeless in the High Point community through programs such as the Father’s Table which provides over 130,000 meals a year and a nonperishable food pantry that serves up to 200 families each month.
