"Members of the Winston-Salem Police Department Field
Services Bureau initiated an investigation at Walgreens, in which
Jennifer Eileen McCormack Schuler, 31, w/f was
identified as a suspect of a prescription fraud case.
Investigation by the Special Investigations
Division established that Schuler, who resides at 2125 Cloverdale Ave., in Winston-Salem, is responsible for phoning in numerous
fraudulent prescriptions to the pharmacy representing herself as a medical
provider. Schuler fraudulently received
850 dosages of hydrocodone during the time frame of 07/16/2014 and
08/20/2014.
She is charged with 10
counts Obtaining Controlled Substance by Fraud, 10
counts of Identity Fraud, 1 count Attempt to Obtain
Controlled Substance by Fraud and is being held under a $25,000.00 secured bond"
