CENTRAL CAROLINA AIR IS SEARCHING FOR THE TRIAD’S OLDEST RESIDENTIAL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT STILL IN USE

One Piedmont Triad Home Owner to Win Cold Cash

"Greensboro, N.C., July 7, 2015 – Central Carolina Air Conditioning announces one Piedmont Triad home owner will win cold cash and credit towards a new air conditioning system this summer as part of the company’s first-ever “Oldest AC Contest.” Due to the extreme heat, Central Carolina Air Conditioning has been working overtime to meet the demands of hundreds of customers with cooling issues and has decided to launch their first contest to locate the oldest home air conditioning unit still in operation in their service area.
From July 7 to July 31, 2015, home owners within the Piedmont Triad area are eligible to submit pictures of themselves with their older, functioning home air conditioning units online. Home owners with air conditioning units at least 10 years old are qualified to enter; window units do not qualify. One home owner with the “Oldest AC” will win $500 cold cash and $500 towards the purchase of a new air conditioning unit. All qualified home owners who enter are eligible to receive $50 off a tune-up regardless of whether they win the contest.

Qualified home owners can enter the contest on Central Carolina’s website http://www.ccair.com/Residential/ContactUs/Contest.aspx.

“We are excited to see and find out what equipment is still out there. There are many manufacturers that are no longer around and the design of some of these older units were unique. It will be interesting to relive some of those past days.” Steve Wobig, General Manager, Central Carolina Air Conditioning.
