Greensboro Elks Golf Classic will benefit Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro


  • Fri., Sept. 18 at Bryan Parks Player’s Course – 9:am Registration/11am T-off

  • Sat., Sept. 19 at Greensboro Elks Lodge on Cornwallis Drive – 7pm Dinner/Silent Auction
               
"The Greensboro Elks Lodge # 602 will hold its Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, September 18 at Bryan Park’s Player’s Course. Registration opens at 9 a.m. and golfers T-Off at 11 a.m. for a Captain’s Choice format.  A dinner/silent auction will be held Saturday, September 19 for players and sponsors.  Tribute will also be paid to Ace Kirkman and Larry Barham, two members who died this past year and had a long history of service to the Elks and its charity golf events.   

In 2011, the Greensboro Elks Lodge named Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG) their tournament charity.  Since that time, the Greensboro Elks Golf Classic has generated proceeds totaling more than $78,000.  Kim Fuquay, 2015 Tournament Chair is very hopeful they will hit $100,000 this year.  “The Greensboro Elks Lodge is very proud of our partnership with Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro,” explained Fuquay.  “Thanks to many generous sponsors, donors, golfers and lodge members, together, we are building a stronger community.”

Located on Cornwallis Drive, the Greensboro Elks Lodge #602 has a long rich history of investing financial support, as well as members’ time and talents to enrich the community and beyond. With a membership of more than 1000, the following organizations are supported by the Greensboro Elks:
