"Two events in downtown Greensboro tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 19, will close several roads for most of the day.
From 7 am through approximately 9 pm, vehicular traffic will be prohibited on the following roads:
- S. Elm St. between W. Market and W. Washington St.
- February One Place between S. Elm St. and Davie St.
The closures are to provide a safe environment for the Greensboro Pride event in the morning and the Peace Festival in the evening.
Roads will be barricaded and officers form the Greensboro Police Department will be directing traffic and assisting event participants.
Motorists are asked to be especially vigilant where pedestrians are present."
