1. The city is doing all it can to reduce the area’s excess levels of smog and pollution. (18)
2. New roads are of the utmost importance due to the growth of our city, and the number of motor vehicles on the highway. Next would be improved bus service, bicycle facilities and then light rail. (36)
3. Pushing for economic development and growth as it relates to retaining and bringing more companies and businesses to our city by supporting initiatives to attract companies and businesses is important in stimulating the economy. This will create more job opportunities for our citizens. (44)
4. I support the use of economic incentives in bringing more companies and businesses to our community. The amount of jobs created due to the incentive would be a major factor in supporting economic incentives. (35)
5. The city can best support local businesses by providing services that will help businesses grow and expand. (18)
6. I do not support the initiative launched by the Greensboro Minimum Wage Committee to increase the minimum wage to $9.36. I am a small business owner and without a cash subsidy from the federal government to help small business owners pay this increased minimum wage, most small businesses will go bankrupt. (52)
