1. Greensboro continues to be effective in balancing environmental sensitivity and the pressures associated with population growth and development. I would recommend no changes to the compact. (27)
2. There will be a tipping point due to economic forces that will cause the more rapid transition to alternate means of transportation. Therefore, roads, bus service, trails and light rail. (31)
3. Greensboro must continue to reduce regulations and enhance the small business environment. We do not market our competitive advantages. We should. (22)
4. Yes-repayment, capital investment, corporate citizenship. (6)
5. Get out of their way. Reduce regulation. Ask “how can we help you accomplish your business goal” (18)
6. No (1)
7. The growth of the City’s footprint is a signal to other regions of growth, success and strong infrastructure. (19)
8. Any marketing of the community is good. I will not support any funding to this project until there is a revenue sharing deal that benefits Greensboro directly, not just economic impact. (32)
9. It is a difficult situation that has been handled poorly at times. (13)
10. No-Nowhere in the world is behavior more monitored or closely scrutinized than in America, more particularly, in Greensboro NC. We don’t need one. This would be another venue where the perpetual whiners would squeeze out any legitimate victim. (39)
