I'm still processing my experience in Mexico. A YES! Weekly cover story is most certainly in the works. I'm also turning over ideas about further stories about North Carolina tobacco workers from the Mexican state of Nayarit, the murder of a labor union staffer in the Mexican city of Monterrey who was working with North Carolina farmworkers, drugs, migration and militarization.
For the moment, I'm gathering reports from some of the 20 members of the recent Feb. 17-27 Witness For Peace delegation to Mexico on the new Roots of Migration blog.
