A consultant for HDR is outlining an evaluation of proposals gleaned from an RFP for solid waste options for the benefit of the Greensboro City Council. The proposals include both traditional landfilling options and waste-to-energy alternative technologies, including options that entail reopening the White Street Landfill.
Council chambers for this council briefing are mostly full, including many residents from northeast Greensboro who live near the White Street Landfill.
