Redevelopment of the Bessemer Shopping Center on Phillips Avenue in northeast Greensboro will be the topic of a public meeting held by the city of Greensboro and the Renaissance Center Advisory Committee, according to a press release created by city staff. The meeting takes place on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Peeler Recreation Center, located at 1330 Sykes Ave. The city reportedly purchased the shopping center as a site for the new McGirt-Horton Library.
