We're behind on this story, but I thought details from the case file might flesh out the narrative a bit.
Greensboro nightclub operator Rocco Scarfone. 49, was charged with assault on a female for an incident occurring late Saturday or early Sunday, Guilford County court records show. A warrant alleges that Scarfone struck Jennifer Dawn Ferrell "by grabbing her arms, punching with fist to the bicep, throwing to floor, pinning to the floor."
Calls to Scarfone by YES! Weekly staff were not returned for this story.
The alleged assailant and victim share a residence in Greensboro. Scarfone operates Allure Nightlife on South Elm Street, along with an array of other local business holdings.
Scarfone is scheduled to appear in Guilford County court to answer the charge on March 3.
