September is over. Pretty much! And we're kicking our election coverage into high gear this week, beginning with this week's editorial, which you'll note ends with a call to all candidates for personal interviews with our endorsement committee before we make our picks in the Nov. 2 issue of YES! Weekly.
I'll be booking these interviews beginning today — open to all, and yes, participation does count in our figuring.
We haven't done this in years, frankly because we're overworked as it is. But we're bringing it back this year because it really helps to have some face time with the candidates before making our choices.
First round of calls goes out this morning. Or if you're a candidate and are the proactive type you can contact me directly at 33.316.1231 or editor@yesweekly.com to schedule a time.

Getting a little ahead of yourself, aren't you?
Why are you interviewing primary candidates for endorsements to be made after the primary?
Because we're putting out a primary guide on Oct. 5, douchebag.
I'm sorry, Brian. I know you do your best.
