The High Point Human Relations Department and the YWCA of High Point host a legislative update with Reps. John Faircloth and Marcus Brandon at the YWCA, located at 112 Gatewood Ave. in High Point on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. The event is the first in the “Front Porch Conversation Series.” Future topics include student and youth rights, integration, racial justice, voting rights, fair housing, interracial dating and civic pride.
